One thing that didn't make sense, though... Didn't Tousen harass Shuuhei about not feeling fear? Doesn't this chapter's flashback kinda render his speech then useless?

Well, at least knowing Tousen's fear helped drive home the fact that he's actually a bigger moron than I originally expected.

I watched the awards show tonight. The amount of people who had to emphasize the impartiality of TVB upper management confounds me. The first one, okay. The second one, really? The third one, now you're just trying to rub it in the audience's faces. Do they really think the public buy that crap they're trying to feed?

I think after awarding Kevin Cheng the "Best Actor" award in 2006 - even though he clearly did not deserved the win and was definitely the dark horse - which caused quite a bit of uproar, the realization that TVB is anything but impartial has sunk into most people.

Also, what the hell was up with Charmaine Sheh in the top 5 twice for "Favorite Female Character"? Am I the only one who thinks the 2nd nod should've been disqualified? Yes, those are 2 entirely different roles and maybe people do think they're both worth a nom. But this means that 1 actress now has higher chance of winning. How is that fair to the other actresses? Even if this is for the role itself, I still don't understand the rationality behind it. There wasn't another much-loved favorite female character? Oh, you stinking, filthy liar, TVB. Who the hell even remembers You're Hired anymore? I completely forgot this was a 2009 production until it came up in the show. There are so many other female characters from Rosy Business or hell, Beyond the Realm of Conscience who I'm absolutely 100% positive that people liked more than what's-her-face from YH. But that lousy role got nominated? Sigh, such epic fail.

You know how icky it is to come online to find that the work you were doing is not finished? Like ugh, empty post =/= boo.
I do agree that playing online during exams is really not good for the studying. Shall clean up my mess and return on sunday with more scans. Although I am not really racing with anyone to get them out quick, I do hope that no one gets them scanned within today or tomorrow time interval, because if I post them, I might be ticking someone off O___O;

Meh, at least more fandoms will be better known now \o/

HOLY HELL, TVB ACTUALLY LISTENED TO FANS?!

My biggest peeve about the TVB awards show is that they are rigged as hell. You might say, "Well, what award show isn't rigged?" But at least if they are, they're more subtle about it! TVB just suck major balls when it comes to being inconspicuous while playing favorites.

They pushed the award show back and probably had some official reason for it. But netizens believed it was so Beyond the Realm of Conscience could finish its run and be on top of people's minds. Tavia Yeung and Charmaine Sheh were top on the list of "Best Actress" nominees for their roles in this but I never understood why, other than the fact that they're both under TVB management. People thought Tavia should win because it's her breakthrough role and she did it very well. Now, I didn't see much of the drama but from the last few episodes I have seen - which is the climax for Tavia, really, since it's in those episodes that she should be 200% evil - she didn't come off very villainy. I can see she's getting it but she isn't there. A good villain always makes me feel an incredibly strong urge to reach into my TV and strangle them; I've done nothing but roll my eyes at Tavia's "villain" and raise an eyebrow or two whenever she "laughs evilly." And this is the role she's nominated for in the "Best Actress" category? Please, child. Yes, it may be her first time playing a villain but to be a forerunner for that reason alone? Either HKers have seriously low expectations of their fa dans lately or they just don't remember what villains are supposed to be like anymore.

And as for Charmaine Sheh, OH GOD SO MANY WORDS SO LITTLE WAYS TO COMMUNICATE THEM TO YOU. Here, let me be simple: SHE SUCKS. In the very beginning, she was tolerable. Then she just became redundant and boring and too comfortable in her mold. ENOUGH WITH THE GOODY TWO SHOES ROLES. I'M SO SICK OF THEM I'M EVEN EXPRESSING MY DISTASTE FOR YOU AND THOSE ROLES AND YOU IN THOSE ROLES IN ALL CAPS. Her character in this drama is like the epitome of a goody two shoes, which makes it even worse. Some netizens didn't like her because the role was too godly and unrealistic. Like, YES WE GET IT CHARMAINE YOU LOVEEEEEEE BEING A GOOD PERSON NOW GTFO. WE GET IT. I would've cried then written a very angry letter to TVB HQ in HK if she actually won "Best Actress" again. My dad said she doesn't have an "evil face" so there's no way she could play villains; hence, reason why she's always playing this good girl. If she turns evil, she always turns back good. SO WHAT? BE LOGICAL. TAVIA DOESN'T HAVE AN "evil face." SONIJA KWOK DOESN'T HAVE AN "evil face." THERE ARE SO MANY FA DANS WHO DON'T HAVE AN "evil face" AND HAS PLAYED VILLAINS AND HAVE BEEN AT LEAST SOMEWHAT DECENT IN THEIR ROLES. My dad pretty much shut up after that tirade because. Seriously.

At least it looks like a large part of HK was rooting for Wayne Lai and Sheren Tang in Rosy Business. Now that is what we call good acting. I don't know about Sheren Tang since I'm not a particular fan of hers and a lot of the dramas she's been in the past few years bored me to tears other than RB (I mean, come on, War and Beauty? YAWN.) But I know Wayne Lai deserved the award more than anyone else. Last year when he won "Best Supporting Actor" I nearly died from joy. He was always, always nominated - year after year after year after year - but he never won once. Why? Clearly because he's not under the TVB flag. So last year when he came up for it again for his role in The Gentle Crackdown II, I wanted him so badly to win because he was just phenomenal - yet again! - so when he did, I was overjoyed. No one in that fucking industry deserved this award more than Wayne. Every show he has been in, he's given his 110% and never once was he appreciated until last year. Then all of a sudden, he's everywhere, including being a male lead for the first time. TVB is shameless when it comes to over-promoting a recent award winner even though he/she was on the back burner all this time before but for once, I don't mind - it's Wayne. Then he came up for "Best Actor" category this year and I knew if TVB didn't give it to him, there'd be a riot. Moses Chan? Please. He was so forgettable as a king in BRC. He does keep me marveling at his fantastic ability to remain stone-faced through every role he takes on, though. Take an acting class, child.

I feel like TVB just wanted to hand her an award so that the top awards aren't going to all the non-TVB contract actors and actresses. Best performance of the year? HA. TVB, get a reality check, please. No one cares about Tavia right now. It's Wayne and Sheren's spotlight.

SNOW IN CANADA! WHY SO LATE?!

I just read the very beginning of a Klaus/James fic. Accidentally of course, because I just was perusing this Eroica fanfiction archive (and actually stumbled on some pretty good ones) and didn't notice that it was a Klaus/Others until I skilled to the end. Then I was like "OH MY GOD BUT KLAUS HATES JAMES!"

It made me want to cry, that is after I blew my brains out.

I am usually quite amenable to alternative pairings even if I don't know them.. but Klaus/James didn't rest well with me because it in fact is very much reaching (Dorian/James isn't.. Klaus/James, well it is.)

Now I need a good dose of Klaus/Dorian smut to banish the mental image completely.

In the sims game I am playing, Dorian has a habit of watching Klaus while he showers, and making a 'grrrowl' sound. It's because he's checking out Iron Klaus's iron ass. It was still amusing when I caught him doing it. Yes, Klaus is a fine specimen of a man, will be even more fine of a specimen when he reaches 'physical perfection' that can only be attained through martial arts.

So now, that its December, I'm revealing my secret plan for the month.
For those of you who do know or not, this is my birthday month, and favourite month. Usually has snow, but I'm hoping it will come down before the month is over. xDD; I thought this year that I should do something as a celebration, since you guys always wish me a good birthday but I never really do much in return ;; I don't like cards, well, that explanation has a longer description, but that's the short version, and this is what I thought of. Starting tomorrow, I'll be counting down to my b-day with a release by me (hopefully) every day \o/! Release as in something related to waht I usually do in klamg. Since I'm in many fandoms, you might see me around, but that's my monthly goal. haha, beats doing memes all day anyways =w=;
Why start tomorrow? Uh, cause that's the age I'm turning. YES, 4. I AM TURNING 4. |D To see real age and better reason, please refer to profile. If I don't get a release in everyday, then I promise to make up for the days on the weekend o.o;

Anyways. I've posted a poll for the magazine, AVARUS, that I mentioned buying. Everyone has been busy this month and has not scanned any of the chapters yet, so I thought I'd do them a favour and scan the whole thing!
Only problem is, I don't know which to start with first!

I usually don't rip my magazines, so its true that which ever chapter I scan first is the nicest, and then kinda goes gutter hill from there. I'll try not to have that happen though o.o;

Sorry to be so terribly dead on LJ lately! D': School hasn't been very nice in terms of giving out homework and making us worry fuckloads about IB and university apps and what not. So I guess I just really haven't been in the mood for blogging and couldn't quite find some good, spare time to make a proper post. But! The tough-tough time has gone by and now I can say that I feel much more relaxed about both school and life. Although -- now that I rethink about it, I actually have quite a decent amount of homework for next week (And just when I thought I could have some good rest... this never ends, does it?), so if you don't see me updating for another long while you'll know what's going on. In fact, I'm not even sure if anyone still bothers reading this journal? My life hasn't been very interesting at all and as much as I'd like to share doodles, photos and all my exciting experiences with you lot there really is none. :(

But but but! Ming Zhe came back from Australia today!♥ Went to pick her up at the airport with Ayato and was so -- fucking -- nervous. And ecstatic through the whole time we waited for her at the arrival halls. Her family was there and it was pretty cool to see her mom again! ;-; As usual, she's a very funky and happy mumma. :B Anyway, quite unexpectedly we were allowed to steal her away to have dinner since I had planned beforehand to dinner with Dickson, Michael and Vista but well, didn't think Ming Zhe would come along since she kinda shoulddd have spent the first day back with her family instead (I almost felt rude for turning up and snagging their daughter away on their long-awaited family reunion, although I tried to convince myself that it was 'alright' because I had spoken to Ming-mama the night before to see if she was cool with the idea and she seemed pretty chill with it 8D) -- ANYWAY. MING ZHE IS NOW BACK IN HONG KONG FOR TWO MONTHS, WAS IT?! lasjdflaksjdflak. Everything will be amazing. And Kevin (sai lo♥) will be coming back next week, probably Wednesday or something so AHHHHH CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HIM TOO. :'D

EDIT:// Oh and yes, I did dye my hair again, just two days ago! It probably looks black in some of the photos but it's actually a dark brown (the hair colour is called 'Dark Chocolat', from the Liese bubble hairdye series). I've also been putting a lot of effort into moisturizing my lips and constantly applying lip balm because I got a new chapstick and it was for $8HKD! D: That is amazingly cheap. And it's cherry flavoured so I like, I like. ♥ Chap Ice, anyone? So uhh -- in my older pictures (anything without my dark hair) I normally put lip concealer/foundation over my lips to cover the redness but recently I -- haven't been doing that because foundation and lipbalm do not mix very well for me. So yes, my lips look redder than usual, but that's their natural colour... now you know why I want to cover them up? 8D; CHAP ICEEEEEEE♥ Need more flavours. MOREEEEE.

Apparently all the things I want 20q.net to guess are too obscure for it.
